How long have you worked at Ffald y Brenin and what is your role here?
I joined Ffald y Brenin in September 2025 and have the role of Operations Manager.
What is something you like about working at Ffald y Brenin (or is there something you’re working on in particular you’re enjoying)?
Since starting, one of the main focuses has been and continues to be the exciting purchase and development of the farm next door, Penlan Uchaf. I also like the interaction with the many guests who visit Ffald y Brenin, and creating and facilitating the space where they can each meet with God. Such a privilege and a joy!
What is something you love about God’s character?
Expect the unexpected, and if it is His will, then it will happen. I love how God always works in multilayers – like the facets of a diamond that always come together in a beautiful way.
If you had a free day to do anything of your choice, what kinds of things would you enjoy most?
Aha, a free day!! We are fortunate to live in Fishguard overlooking the sea, so that would have to be a walk on a nearby beach with my wife, Kaye, and our dog, Barti. We love time at home in our garden. Family is also really important to us, so time spent having fun with our two granddaughters is such a blessing.
How can Friends pray for you today?
To be a good servant of the Lord in this very special place, to listen to His will for Ffald y Brenin in my role, and for wisdom and grace in all things.

How long have you worked at Ffald y Brenin and what is your role here?
I joined the team in November 2024 as a housekeeper. Then in May 2025 I took on a few new roles including bookings administrator, overseeing the bookshop & leading the housekeeping team.
What is something you like about working at Ffald y Brenin (or is there something you’re working on in particular you’re enjoying)?
I’m currently working with Michelle (our media director) to create some Ffald y Brenin greeting cards that I’m excited to share with you.
What is something you love about God’s character?
In this moment, my favourite characteristics of God are his kindness and faithfulness.
If you had a free day to do anything of your choice, what kinds of things would you enjoy most?
An ideal day for me would be spent with my loved ones, somewhere in nature, enjoying a picnic and a swim in the ocean.
How can Friends pray for you today?
Prayers of blessings would be appreciated for our housekeeping team, who work hard each week to prepare the centre to be ready for guests to spend time in rest and to encounter God.

How long have you worked at Ffald y Brenin and what is your role here?
I started working at Ffald y Brenin as part of the housekeeping team in November 2024, but since the beginning of this year, I have had the role of the head gardener. I love plants, wildlife, ecosystems, the outdoors, and anything to do with living things. It is a real blessing to work at Ffald y Brenin, where both my passion for nature with my love of Jesus are part of everyday life.
What is something you love about God’s character?
At the moment I really enjoy having an adventure of life with the Lord. Every day, he has something new to offer and I’m excited to see what lies behind the next corner.
If you had a free day to do anything of your choice, what kinds of things would you enjoy most?
I mostly spend my days off with my two children, catching up with domestic chores, and trying to keep in touch with friends. But on holidays I enjoy camping trips in wild places, lighting fires and practising my ‘bushcraft’ skills. I also enjoy music and reading.
How can Friends pray for you today?
I’d like prayer for the Lord’s guidance while I work in the gardens. After all, it’s his garden I am tending to, and he is the boss.
